We went in forms cheap lunch....we got the best fish and chips we've had. I've been in the cooking industry for close to 35 years.The fish was crispy, the swc9ndnpiece held its crispness until I was ready to eat him.My mother was full and sent me a third piece, that too was crispy still. Fish moist not oily, coleslaw needed np salt or pepper and the service was prompt and very courteous...2 for 1 specials Thursday is fish and chips 2 drinks 20.99 cod 22.99 halibut...wednesdays is steak i think.I'll be back for sure. Tip the cook directly too...

Stopped by for lunch, and I’d recommend the place. Their burgers are delicious - they have tons of great options to choose from, I got the hamburger with mushrooms and a side of salad; portions are generous - I had a hard time finishing my burger, good thing I got salad and not fries; prices are great and their service is very friendly. I’d gone on a weekend and though it was busy, it wasn’t full (didn’t have to wait). I liked their vibe too, looked like an old school diner from the 80s. Would definitely go again if I’m in the area!

Awesome service, it was a bit slow and the food was ok.

A casual favourite. I ordered the beef dip last time, which came with gravy instead of au jus, but it was good nonetheless. The waitresses are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting.

First time there and we're pleasantly surprised at the menu prices. It's a bit like stepping back in time and a good experience over all. Nice staff, good food and Fry refills! Will be back for more.

Sadly this place has gone down hill. Rude waitress to us she was having a bad day so she said she wasn't going to wipe down our table she sat us at a very cramped table for 2. We left, I guess the owner doesn't care anymore.

Friendly staff and clientele. Good food. Disappointed that we couldn't get the 2 for one fish & chips unless we waited until after 5 and buy drinks... too much fine print on the dinner deals for me. Also, $10 for an egg salad sandwich seems high. But generally, it was a good meal.

Got to love it. Food was great and you have a killer view of the beach. Don't forget to buy a dukes t shirt when your there.

Bacon cheddar burger was amazing. Fries were seasoned and tasty. A little expensive but priced appropriately for the quality.

I can not give this place a higher score than 3 stars as it seems to have gone downhill especially the food. I ordered a beef dip and when it was brought to my table I was curious what was the food on my plate was. Let me try to explain ...... The bread was awful, as it was crunchy and stale tasting; the roast beef was non existent (a few small pieces of dried out meat); the beef dip liquid was salty and did not taste like real au juice but gravy and finally the french fries were over done and tasted like nothing.

Whenever me & my dad have a hankering for fish n chips this is where we go. The food is always delicious & the staff are wonderful. Great service, Great food!

Damn tasty food! Had the breakfast and the cheddar bacon burger. All excellent food and good prices!8 month update: breakfast isn't as good as it used to be. The sausages are different (maple syrup flavor I think), and the rye toast wasn't.Went from 5 stars to 3 stars in my opinion.

This place is the real deal. Had the Steak & Eggs for breakfast, subbing out the hashbrowns/toast for the House Salad w/ Blue Cheese Dressing. It was lights out. Friendly service, great value, big portions. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Campbell River!

Have you ever waited 50 minutes for 3 2inch pieces of fish. We ask for extra tartar sauce they bring some store stuff that's like a couple years old with gelatin on the top in a package. You might fool the usual people that come in but seriously step it up. Do you think the Duke would ever eat here....

The fish and chips was very good. But...we were told that the two pieces of Halibut were large. We got one large and the other one small 1/3 of the size. Check your take out people.

This is the best place for food in Campbell River and their Halibut and chips are the best the other fish and chip places in town could Learn a thing or two from this place staff is very friendly as well prices are fair

Love their homemade burger patties. Lots of great flavor. We will def go back and maybe try some of their 2 for 1 deals(which start after 5pm).
